Revenge of the Fallen

Julius Caesar’s generals, Macbeth and Banquo, encounter three strange women on their way home after quelling a rebellion. The women prophesy that Macbeth will become the Thane of Cawdor then become the King of Scotland while Banquo’s heirs will become kings. The three strange women disappeared. Upon arriving, Macbeth was given the title of Thane of Cawdor. To celebrate, Julius Caesar visits Macbeth’s place. Macbeth planned on assassinating Julius Caesar while sleeping. Later that night, while all are sleeping, Macbeth kills the king and his guards.
Julius Caesar was killed by Macbeth, allowing him to take the throne. He marries Gertrude. Julius Caesar’s ghost appears to his son, Hamlet. Hamlet learns of his father’s death and seeks revenge! Hamlet became a little crazy after this. He visits Juliet and looks crazy to her. Juliet told this to Polonius and Polonius discussed this to Macbeth. They formed a plan to confirm Polonius suspicions.
Rosencrantz and Guildenstern, who were asked to find out what bothers Hamlet, tell him of the drama group who will be performing. Hamlet gets an idea and asked the performers to play to perform the Murder of Gonzago, modified a little by him to reflect what Macbeth did to kill Julius Caesar. Polonius and Macbeth go through with their plan and have Juliet talk to Hamlet while they listen in. They found nothing suspicious but Polonius was not convinced. They then form a new plan; it is to have Hamlet talk with Gertrude in her chambers while Polonius listen behind the tapestry.
Macbeth watched the play of the murder of Gonzago then walked out, Hamlet celebrates that reaction. Polonius then tells Hamlet that Gertrude wants to talk to him in her chamber. At the mean time, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern were ordered to give a letter to the king of England with Hamlet. Hamlet was planning to kill Macbeth while he prays but didn’t do it. He then went to Gertrude’s chamber to talk. Hamlet spoke harsh words to Gertrude and Gertrude yells for help. Polonius who was listening behind the tapestry helped Gertrude but Hamlet stabbed him without knowing who was behind the tapestry. Hamlet scolds Gertrude some more then the ghost of Julius Caesar showed to Hamlet and calmed him down. He reminds him that he’s to take revenge from Macbeth not to Gertrude.  Hamlet leaves taking Polonius body.
Gertrude told Macbeth about Polonius murder then Macbeth ordered everyone to search for the body. Rosencrantz and Guildenstern asked Hamlet where the body was. Hamlet said it’s down the hall. Macbeth sent Hamlet with his two close friends to England for their own protection. They leave. While on the ship, Hamlet finds the letter and rewrites it to order the execution of his two close friends instead. Hamlet was taken prisoner by the pirates until Hamlet returns to Elsinore. He writes letter and Horatio helps Hamlet to deliver those letter. Before that, Juliet gets crazy over his father’s death. Laertes returns from France and demand answers from Macbeth. Macbeth told Laertes that it is Hamlet to be blame then they devised a plan to kill hamlet.
Juliet drowns herself and she is buried. Before she is buried, Hamlet and Laertes wrestle at Juliet’s funeral. Osric stopped Laertes and Hamlet and asked them to duel in front of the king and queen. They both agreed. Macbeth and Laertes prepared the poisoned wine and poisoned sword. Gertrude accidentally drinks the wine that Macbeth prepared.  Laertes wounds Hamlet with his sword. They rest then the swords are mixed up. Hamlet wounds Laertes. Laertes then told about the poisoned sword and wine. Gertrude then dies. Having heard of the poisoned sword and wine, Hamlet stabs Macbeth and made him drink the poisoned wine. Hamlet dies shortly after. Fortinbras, the son of Pompey, arrives. Horatio, being the sole survivor told them the whole story. In the end, Fortinbras claimed the kingdom and became the king.

THREE WITCHES : Fair is foul, and foul is fair

Macbeth is a play written by William Shakespeare. It is considered one of his darkest and most powerful tragedies. Set in Scotland, the play dramatizes the corrosive psychological and political effects produced when evil is chosen as a way to fulfill the ambition for power.

The famous line in the play Macbeth is “Fair is foul, and foul is fair” of the three witches. This line means that things that are good will become bad and things that are bad will become good. It also means that things that look attractive or fair will become horrible or foul and things that are ugly will become beautiful. The witches are referring first to themselves. They look ugly, but the predictions they eventually give to Macbeth are beautiful to him. "Fair is foul, and foul is fair" is perhaps one of the most significant lines in Macbeth. It is a juxtapose which is an idea that contradicts itself and it is used to foreshadow the fact that characters in the play who seem to be good and righteous, Macbeth,  may actually be tainted or evil and vice versa.

I can relate this line in myself, specifically, the line, “Foul is fair”. I may be not beautiful outside but I have the ability to do things that others can’t do. I can do my projects and things in creative ways.  I am loyal to my friends. I am kind to those people who treat me well. I am beautiful in my own way, simply because I am the son of God.

“Fair is foul” is the line I can apply to my classmate. She is beautiful. She is rich. She is intelligent. Yes, they say that she is perfect. But, for me she will never be. First and foremost, she is a boastful person. She used to say things that are irrelevant and would just make her to be the star of our class. She used to judge a person without even thinking what they will feel. She doesn’t mind other people’s opinion. For her, what she says is always the truth. I don’t know, but almost all of the boys like her, because for them, face is enough. For me, as time goes by our outside appearance will all change. But, our kindness and the things that we do will always remain in the hearts of the persons we’ve been through.

Mistakes can Change Everything

A Midsummer Night's Dream is a play by William Shakespeare. It is believed that it was written between 1590 and 1596. It portrays the events surrounding the marriage of the Duke of Athens, Theseus, and Hippolyta. These include the adventures of four young Athenian lovers and a group of six amateur actors, who are controlled and manipulated by the fairies that inhabit the forest in which most of the play is set. The play, which is categorized as a comedy, is one of Shakespeare's most popular works for the stage and is widely performed across the world.

For me, the climax of this play is when Puck mistakenly poured the love juice on the eyes of Lysander which is really for Demetrius.  There the conflict of the story starts. When the love juice was poured into somebody’s eyes, he will deeply fall in love on the first thing or person he will see. Lysander fell in love with Helena immediately. Helena then feels that Lysander is just mocking her because she witnesses the love of Hermia and Lysander with each other. There, Demetrius and Lysander fight to win Helena’s love. Helena and Hermia also fight.

I enjoyed this story very much not just because this plays one of Shakespearians Masterpieces but also this play gave me morals that I can apply in my daily life. I learned in this story that we must fight for our love ones especially when we on the right side no matter what happen. I also learned that love conquers everything. Someone will do everything to prove his love. This play is comedy which is one of the reasons why I enjoyed this play.

Is the Best and Easiest Way to Forgive someone is to Forget Her?

“In time the memory of what happened will fade when you forgive. Forgive what hurt you and never forget what it taught you!” –Larry James

Every single day of my life, I felt the happiness of existing in this wonderful and splendid world. I have parents who love and support me, friends who remain loyal to me and most of all I have GOD who are giving me the chance to appreciate and take good care all the things He made for everyone of us. I am very grateful that delightful things occur, but as what life is, consequences are really part of it.
As a student, following rules in school is a must. One of the rules we must follow is wearing proper uniform. For third-year students, every Friday we were required to wear our new Cadet Uniform for GSP. After receiving my uniform, I am excited to wear it. I want to see how I look like because when I was in lower years, fourth-year students are the only one who wears Cadet Uniform. They really look like a professional. On our first day of wearing Cadet Uniform, I felt enthuse because I think we resemble an honorable individual. When I was heading to our classroom, I saw girls fixing up their selves but I didn’t mind them much. I just hurried a walk towards our room. When I was on my way to our door, I heard someone who asked, “Where is Cleo?” The voice is familiar with me, and without any glance, I know whom that voice came from. I didn’t mind that girl because I know what she meant for saying that. I continue doing my routine in our classroom. As I was sweeping the floor, many things came up to my mind. I was thinking, and then suddenly my classmates approached me. They told me that the girl who was looking for me just want to see how small and fat girl look like after wearing Cadet Uniform and will just laugh after seeing me. I was not shocked of hearing that, however my tears became the evidence for what I really feel inside.
I never thought that there was a man who will intimidate me of whom I am, not because of my personality but because of what she can see outside of me. What really hurts the most is that she is a girl the same with me.
Days passed by. As what birds are, news has its own wings that fly high. I don’t have that idea of how she knew that I cried because of her. She came to our room to ask for my forgiveness. But, I think of it in many times before. Why will a person ask for forgiveness if she doesn’t really mean what she said? I refuse to talk to her. I don’t want to face that kind of human being. Forgiveness? I already forgave her after sometime. Many people say that she is that kind of girl. I just need ignore her because it’s her way of life. Its how deals with other people. It’s how she judges me.
I admit it. I am small, fat and dark girl. Yes, it is me, the one and only me. I was created by the man above and He was God. At that time, as my tears fall from my eyes I told myself that I will not cry for the same reason anymore. I learned that I am proud of who I am because this is the real me.  I will persevere to achieve my goals and prove her wrong. I will try and do my best to prove her that outside appearance will never judge a person’s personality.

Are You Academically Excellent or Sports-minded Individual?

There are many challenges that may come into our lives.  Some challenges give us strength and wisdom, but some just give us the opposite one. These challenges were given, for us to be a better person. There are some ways on how we can surpass on these challenges either being academically excellent or being a sports-minded individual.
Academically excellent and sports-minded individual are similar in many ways, such as they both stand-out in different terms, one in academics and another one in sports. Both of them persevere to achieve their goals in life. They work hard in order to fulfill the duties that were given to them. They give more attention on their thinking skills, things that were able to control the things they must do. They improve in some ways. Both of them became popular whenever they win on competitions they joined to.
Aside from these similarities we can now derive to their differences. Academically excellent individual is more focused on things that involve logic. Headaches are their great competitors. In some instance, studying too much can cause someone to lose her right mind and sleeping late at night can cause over fatigue. Sometimes they have less time with their friends and some other thing when they are very much focused in studying. On the other side a sports-minded one is focused on physical things such as power, strength, and flexibility, etc. You may be popular but if you don’t play the sport properly, you may have injury that can cause you to stop playing the game you are into.
If I were given a chance to reborn and go to my mother’s womb again, I prefer being a sport-minded individual than that of academically excellent one. For me, it’s better to be inclined more in sports than in academics. Yes, I maybe popular in both ways but then, being athletic is something that gives me lesson that I can apply in my daily life. One example is being sport, accepting the result of the game with open heart. There’s nothing wrong in winning or losing, but the best part is when you enjoy what you’re doing in every second of the game you play.
