9 Stations of Violations in Cavite National Science High School

·         No ID, No Entry

            F4- Kuya Eddie and other guards

            Part of the school uniform is wearing ID inside the school compound. Most of the students forgot to wear ID most often boys. Girls have necktie which goes together with ID. I don’t fall in this station because I always have my ID with me.

·         Late Comers Remain

                        Platoon Leaders

            Bacoor, Rosario, Imus, General Trias, Trece, Tanza, Naic, Maragondon, Ternate, Magallanes and Bailen. Whether where place come from you must be in school before 6:30 am on Mondays and 6:45 am in Tuesdays to Fridays. I am a violator in this station. I commute to school. Sometimes I am waiting for a bus or a jeepney for long time that’s why you can find my name in the list of late comers, but I do go to school early every Monday.

·         Boys About Face (Haircut)

            Platoon Leaders

            The haircut of the boys is another part of the school uniform that is being implemented in our school. The boys are often scolded by our platoon leader because of their long hair.  Of course, I won’t fall in this station because I am a girl. Contradict to this, the girls are required to have fixed hair in the Flag Lowering during Friday afternoon.

·         No Shouting Policy

                        School Head

            This is the latest policy in our school. Many violent reaction came out after declaring this policy to us. It teaches student to keep their feelings inside, but what can we do? We were a good law obeying citizen, kidding. Whether we like it or not we should obey this order from the head of our school.

·         Late Payers

            Even though we are studying in a public school, we have many things to pay on, like paying for the cleaners in the comfort room. This a matter settled with our parents. Unfortunately, sometimes students tend to forget their duties so what happen next is that the money that they should pay is increasing. Sometimes, I am violating this, but whenever I have extra money, I am paying on the right time.

·         Must be home after 5:00 pm

                  Faculty

            Our school time is from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. We were given until 5:15 pm to leave the school. I am a good follower in this station. For me, the earlier the better. I really want to go home early to stay away from danger. If I will go home late, it’s already dark on our way home. I don’t have service and I commute with my friends.

·         No Gadgets Allowed

                        Faculty

            Students were allowed to bring gadgets in school, but be sure to have your parental consent and to be responsible for your own things. Being a third year student, we already have research. We bring laptop and when we transfer to another room, we make sure that when we left, the door is closed.

·         No Colored Socks

                        Student Police

            Wearing colored socks is also not allowed in our school. We should wear plain white socks. When my cousins and I went to the mall to buy our things for school, I chose to buy socks with color black sole. We don’t have laundry woman at home. My mother is the one who washes our clothes that’s why I don’t want it to be hard for her. The student police used to list those people who don’t wear plain socks. I asked my mom if she can buy me a plain white socks and I am glad that she bought for me.

·         Waste Management

            We were given extra fifteen minutes to finish our tasks in cleaning our respective areas. Sometimes, when we have many things to finish, we tend to set aside in cleaning our areas. 

You Changed My Life

             Technologies have done a great in our lives. It help us by making the work easier and faster. It has advantages but if it has its positive side, it also has its negative side. It has disadvantage such that, it can ruin the English grammar of oneself.

            The first thing that I do every morning is to check my phone if someone texted me. Then, open the laptop to see the latest updates on Facebook and Twitter. I often tweet rather than post a status on Facebook.  I learned many abbreviation such as OOTD, Outfit of the Day; LOL, Laughing Out Loud; OTW, On the Way; GM, Group Message; HHWW, Holding Hands While Walking etc. Greetings like gud morning, gud aftie and gud nyt instead of using the proper terms.

            I can say that texting has great effect to human being. We should know how to control ourselves and know our limitations. We should always put in mind that an excess matters is not worthy.

Five Days of Sembreak

This is the first day of our Sembreak, and because it's Sembreak, I woke up early, as early as 9:30 in the morning. Today, my breakfast was hotdog with rice. I watch the Korean Series entitled “Princess Hours”, while eating.

I already finished my blog last time so I can open my Facebook and Twitter. Then, suddenly my sister went into my room. My sister and I played together. I fixed her hair. My brother also went to my room. We took pictures together. We also search for the pictures of minions on Google. They were happy seeing them.

I started to open my notes at night but, I’m already sleepy. I fixed my things and I sleep.

On our second day of Sembreak, my mother told me to clean my room. I was busy on Facebook and Twitter then but when she came near, I started to hibernate the laptop. I fixed my books at home. I separate them according to the time I’m using them. I swept the floor. I clean the room. I empty the trash bag. I already finished cleaning the room. I open the laptop and use my Facebook and Twitter. I am tired today so I sleep early.

This is our third day of Sembreak. I already received tasks from my mom. The clothes that she washed were already dry so, I’m going to fold mine. I fixed my clothes from my cabinet. I separate those that I didn’t use. While doing this, my Facebook and Twitter are open. I am using it from time to time to know what’s happening around me. I already finished in folding my clothes. I am free to do what I want. I got curious about “Got to Believe”. It is often trending in Twitter. I watched it in Television with my cousins. I was hooked by the love story of the two couple. I searched in the YouTube some past episodes. I hope I can watch it again next time especially when classes starts. I started to do some homework today. I did my homework in English. The topic for our formal theme is somewhat difficult for me because it is all about love. I was never been seriously in love so I have only few ideas about it.

Fourth day of our Sembreak, today I was inspired to do my assignments. First in line is my homework in Analytic Geometry. It was all about Parabola. I searched the net and I found details about it. It is handwriting so, I need to write. I practiced in writing first. Luckily, I was able to do it well after long time. Then problem arise. I don’t have short bond paper at home. Think, think, and think! I have one Rim of A4 bond paper at home. What I did was to cut it like a short bond paper. So, the width is somewhat little different. It’s not easy to notice. I finished writing. My fingers were exercised. I missed wiring in my notes.

Today is All Saints day. On our fifth day of Sembreak, I did my homework in Physics. The answers were easily found in the book that’s why I finished it right away. I open the laptop and open my Facebook and Twitter. I decided to watch a movie entitled “Oz the Great and Powerful”. I enjoyed the movie so much. I like its effects, magics and everything. I like the story very well. I was bored at home so I went to my cousins. We talked too much, talked too much about things that we do and things that happened in our lives. We were laughing all the time as we share our own experiences with each other.

Today is All Soul’s day. I am now experiencing the sixth day of our Sembreak. I finished all the things I need to do. Last night I am thinking of where to go today. I have three choices: going to Cavite City with my Grandmother, going to San Roque with my cousins or going Mendez with my family. I am thinking of dividing myself into three that time. Unluckily, I end up staying at home. My cousins are already ready to go to San Roque. I heard their voices. I just wake up then. My grandmother decided not to go. She just sent the candles to my relatives. My father wasn’t able to fetch us today. I am very sad today. Yearly, I am out these days. I have nothing to do. There is still next time. I just use Facebook and Twitter. I went to our Chapel at 7:00 pm to hear mass.

End day of everything, just kidding. Today is the seventh day of our Sembreak or I can say that it is the end of our Sembreak. I iron my clothes for next week. The bags and shoes that I washed were already dry so I fixed them. I already fixed and packed up my things for school. I fold my GSP uniforms that I washed. I am getting excited for our camping. I prepared the things I needed for school. I’ve got nothing to cram. It was such a great feeling inside. I watched “World War Z”. I didn’t enjoy it much so until now I’m not yet done watching it.  I continue watching “Got to Believe” in YouTube. After watching “Jessica Soho” on television, I already sleep. I am excited to see my classmates and teachers tomorrow. I am sure we have many stories to share with each other.
